Leila Koppens

Leila Koppens is currently studying a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting, at Southern Cross University. Originally from Brisbane, she made the move to the Gold Coast to embrace the lifestyle and enjoy a more flexible, forward-thinking approach to learning.

Leila enjoys being part of a supportive team environment and is always looking for opportunities to grow both personally and professionally as she builds her career in the finance industry.

Outside of work and study, Leila makes the most of the coastal lifestyle. You’ll often find her playing beach volleyball, going for walks with friends, or relaxing with a good book in the sun. She also comes from a close-knit, adventurous family who share her love of spending time outdoors.

Leila defines success as being genuinely passionate about what you do, to the point where work doesn’t always feel like work. As someone who naturally sets high standards for herself, she has also learned the importance of balance, recognising that stepping away for a quick ocean swim or time with friends is often what helps her return feeling refreshed and ready to give her best.
